Gunnersbury Athletic FC took part in the Southampton Chinese One-Day League, and the energy was electric from the very start.
With 11 teams in the league, each team played 10 matches (20-mins per match) in a single day. The games were intense and fast-paced, but our teamwork, determination, and spirit carried us through. We scored 10 goals, conceded only 1, and remained undefeated with 7 wins and 3 draws.
Our efforts paid off — Gunnersbury Athletic FC was crowned Champion of the League!
After the final whistle, we continued the celebrations by marking Ying’s birthday and our championship victory at Ace’s back garden. We shared laughs, relived memorable moments, and strengthened the bond that makes this team so special.
Gunnersbury Athletic FC is more than just a football club — it’s a brotherhood. Onwards and upwards, boys!
