Gunnersbury Athletic FC participated in the Southampton Chinese Tournament. The atmosphere was electric as we gathered early at Chiswick (west London) and headed to Southampton, filled with anticipation.
The matches were intense, but our teamwork and determination shone through. Despite tough competition, we secured 4th place, a commendable achievement reflecting our hard work and unity. The highlight was our goalkeeper, Terry Shun, winning the Golden Glove for his outstanding performance.
After the tournament, we celebrated with a team dinner, sharing stories and reliving the day’s highlights. This experience has strengthened our bond and motivated us to aim even higher.
